Liam Clifford Kitanya (HtSaW)
The lost prince of the kingdom of Lemilu. Although his birth name is William Kitanya, Liam goes by 'Liam' because his older sister, Willow didn't want them to have the same nickname 'Will'. He also prefers the surname of his adoptive Mama, Atalia Virain, but knows that going by it publically would just cause unnecessary upset with his birth family. In Arc 1, Liam resides in New Floren with Atalia, her husband (Oliver), and Liam's best friend (Ascenda). Don't tell Ascenda, but Liam totally has a crush on her. Liam suffers from a kind of parasite known as Labyrinthus, making him a Labyrinthite and causing him to exhibit erratic behaviour when it acts up. If not for his Labyrinthus, his complexion, eye colour, and hair colour would match his sister, Willow's.

Willow Lea Kitanya (HtSaW)
The princess of Lemilu and the heir to the throne as declared by her father, King Lionel. Willow has surpassed her older brother, Felix, for the succession rights as their father believes her to have a better temperament. Willow doesn't get along with her mother, Katricia Kitanya, much to her own dismay. She is a painter, although her skills are questionable. Willow has been so sheltered that she cannot tell the difference between want for love and simply want for human connection. Willow is intensely contrarion, a trait she inherited from her mother.

Felix Mortimer Kitanya (HtSaW)
The oldest child in the Lemiluan royal family, Felix is set to inherit the title of Head of Guard when the King decides so, although the position is currently held by Maximillian 'Max' Prescott, who Felix does not get along with. He enjoys reading, although his eyesight is not particularly good, since he wears coloured contact lenses to obscure a personal secret. He is selfish, although he does not like to admit as much and has a strong moral compass that usually overules the selfishness. Felix is autistic, and struggles to make eye contact. He suffered intense emotional and physical abuse at the hands of Lionel Kitanya. He can be argumentative, moreso than his sister, Willow, but his arguments are usually less thought out.

Jacques Janvier (Trials of Jacques Janvier)
A vampire hunter from a small village in rural France who has never killed. He is relatively meek, and reacts to difficult situations by either awkwardly withdrawing or lying to make himself sound stronger than he is. He is the sole survivor of a house fire that killed his parents and all three of his siblings when he was a child. Jacques does not know what to think of vampirism, initially believing they are inherently evil until he meets Holland Barrett, a vampire caught in his trap and very sickly from drinking blood tainted with holy water.

Holland Barrett (Trials of Jacques Janvier)
A vampire who resides in a small house in the woods of rural France with his human wife, Luanne, and stepdaughter, November. Holland seems too at home in the chapel near the village, where the villagers believe their priest, Henry Beliere, was slaughtered by a vampire named Vernon Clask. Holland was turned to a vampire against his will, and does his best to fight the hunger, either feeding off Luanne (who allows this because she feels safe) or off of victims who are asleep and will not remember the experience.

Sylvester "Vee" Dalou (HtSaW)
Sylvester Dalou, known as Vee by Felix and Willow Kitanya, is the advisor to King Lionel Kitanya. Vee is a genius, although this can cause him to come across arrogant because he often needs to 'dumb down' his thoughts for others. Vee's eyesight is particularly poor, and he has worn glasses since a very young age. His accent is that of Northern Lemilu. Before he transitioned, he was in a romantic relationship with Prince Felix Kitanya, but their relationship broke off on poor terms because Felix struggled to accept Vee's transition initially. Vee is currently in a loving relationship with Max Prescott, although the two bicker in public to prevent King Lionel from catching on.

Newman Alec (HtSaW)
The crown prince of Poinsettiara-by-the-Sea and the arranged suitor of Willow Kitanya. Newman is very sheltered and shy, but when he gets fed up, his anger comes out in one big burst. His mother, Marilan Deanne, is ruling in his place until he fulfils a set of succession laws unique to his kingdom. Newman is in a secret relationship with his advisor, Rosmarin "Rose" Quori, which began several years before the events of arc 1. The two are secretly betrothed, much to the rage of Willow. Newman tries to give people the benefit of the doubt even when he really shouldn't, such as Willow, who is actively trying to remove Rose from his life, and Marilan, who is attempting to prevent him from taking the throne.

Lionel Kitanya (HtSaW)
The king of Lemilu and the husband to Katricia Scotsfield. Lionel was born William Reginald Kitanya, but after the death of his parents, his grandfather (Mortimer Kitanya) renamed him Lionel Reginald Kitanya. He was raised by his grandfather's advisor Darla Heron. As a child, he befriended Atalia Virain (who he went on to have a romantic relationship with for many years), Katricia Scotsfield (who he ended up marrying, despite her wishes) and Oliver Beanel. Lionel is a cruel individual, although this streak of him did not surface until his mid-teens. He struggles with affection, a trait which he passed on to his daughter, Willow. Lionel is abusive to most people that get close to him. He wears a cloak fashioned from a dress that belonged to his late mother, Lea-- despite the Lemilu fabric crisis, he will not give it up.
